Liberty Manor was established in 2006 by local builder Louis Scarfo, who has over fifty-five years of building and land development experience. Liberty Manor is a proud family owned business with three generations of family leadership. His two daughters who run Scarfo Real Estate, Marie and Susan, his granddaughter Kristen, who is the Project Coordinator of Liberty Manor and his nephew Charlie, who is the Foreman of Liberty Manor. Mr. Scarfo drew his inspiration for naming Liberty Manor from the aroused patriotism we all witnessed following the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. He wanted the community to become a living tribute to the victims of that tragedy. Continuing with that patriotic theme, Scarfo chose names for the community's streets such as Patriot's Drive and Freedom Trail. When completed, Liberty Manor, will be a residential park of 250 manufactured homes in three phases, each positioned on its own professionally landscaped lot with concrete driveways and sidewalks among its many upscale features.
Our move to Liberty Manor has allowed us to enjoy an easier way of life. Here at Liberty Manor having everything on one level means no more stairs, especially the laundry room which my wife really enjoys. Moving to Liberty Manor from a country home still gives us the sense of country living with wooded areas that surround the homes here while still having the close proximity of the shopping malls well within a short drive. During our search for a retirement home we visited Liberty Manor many times and always had the sense of community which is hard to find today. Coming to open house here we had a chance to meet many of the residents in the community who became some of our best friends. It's a very active community which has enriched our lives while still enjoying the country setting and occasional visit from the local wildlife which passes through our yard. We are very much enjoying retirement here at Liberty Manor.Richard & Carol Deaton, Liberty Manor Residents
